2D Design

Students use the basic methods of computer applications in the two dimensional plane. This is a great way for students to familiarize themselves with the computer and its basic creative software.

Equipped with digitizing pen tablets, there is little to no user interface transition between the real and the digital world. This activity provides for a fluid idea-creation environment, as well as a means for finalizing collages, photo manipulation and illustration.

As students gain experience, they can continue to work in the two dimensional plane, and apply their skills afterward in the challenging 3D design learning experience.

After, these creative visions can be transferred to the aforementioned fine art mediums. Software used: Autodesk SketchBook Pro, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Corel Painter Essentials, Corel Photopaint, Corel Draw
